Kotoba Academy does not currently require an account and does not sell personal information.

Local progress

Lesson scores, progress, language settings, and review data are stored in your browser using local storage. Clearing browser data or changing devices may erase that progress.

Hosting and technical logs

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser details, security events, and request logs to deliver and protect the website.

Privacy-focused analytics

Kotoba Academy uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic, such as page views, referring sites, device type, country, and website performance. It does not use cookies, track people across websites, or collect your lesson answers and locally stored study progress.

External services

The main page loads fonts from Google Fonts. Following an email or external support link will take you outside Kotoba Academy and will be governed by that service’s privacy terms. The optional support page links to PayPal and Stripe, which process contributions under their own terms and privacy practices. Cloudflare provides hosting, security, and aggregate web analytics.

Future changes

If accounts, cloud progress, payments, or additional analytics are introduced, this notice will be updated before those features launch.
